Delivery Charges and times in brief:

Amadeus (Amstat) aim (but do not guarantee) to deliver all orders the next working day, although certain items such as furniture may take longer. Orders placed Monday to Thursday will be delivered the next working day. Orders received on Friday will be delivered the following Monday and orders placed at the weekend will be delivered the following Tuesday. Customers will be advised at time of order if this is the case. Amadeus (Amstat) cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss due to late or non-delivery.

Note that oversized or bulky items may require additional delivery time and some products are delivered to customers directly by the manufacturer and some manufacturers are unable to deliver outside of the UK mainland; Amadeus (Amstat) shall endeavour to inform you of extended delivery times at the time you place your order. In any case, Amadeus (Amstat) shall not be liable for any cost or damage caused by late or non-delivery of the Products. Any delay in delivery of the Products shall not give you a right to reject the Products or cancel your order. Amadeus (Amstat) reserves the right to deliver the Products in instalments.

Delivery times are between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm. We cannot specify an exact time when we will deliver. The delivery driver requires a signature for all parcels delivered. If you are unavailable to accept delivery, your order may be left with a neighbour if they are willing to sign for it. Please note parcels cannot be left in porches, sheds etc. Most deliveries are attempted twice and the driver will leave a card stating when delivery will be re-attempted or if the parcel has been left with a neighbour, or if the parcel is available to be collected from your local Post Office. Please state when ordering the floor level of your delivery address if it is not at ground level. If you are a large organisation such as a council or hospital, the delivery driver’s obligation is to deliver to main reception, stores or post room only.

Delivery to the UK mainland is free on all orders over £30 (ex VAT). We aim (but do not guarantee) to deliver to the UK mainland the next working day after you placed your order (unless products ordered have a longer delivery time shown). If your postcode begins with AB (excluding AB10-16, 21, 24-25), JE, GY, IV1-3, IV28-45, KA27-28, PA20-40, PA41+, PH42-44, ZE1-3 or Northern Ireland, please allow 48-72 hours for delivery. If your postcode begins with HS1-9, IV27, IV4-26, 46-56, KW1-17, TR21-25, you will be advised at time of order. Additional carriage costs may also apply to these areas and you will be advised at time of order if this is the case. Please note we cannot deliver to PO Boxes or BFPO addresses.

A small order handling charge of £4.95 (ex VAT) will be added to orders of £29.99 (ex VAT) or less. An additional delivery charge of £15 (ex VAT) will be added to orders from Northern Ireland and offshore islands (including Shetland, Isle of Man) and £48 (ex VAT) for orders from the Channel Islands.

Timescales for furniture deliveries are shown for each range. Unfortunately we are unable to deliver and assemble furniture outside of the UK mainland. Please note that delivery days quoted are working days, and for some areas of Northern Scotland, the Scottish Highlands and the South-West delivery could take longer. Information regarding assembly services can be found on individual furniture ranges. Please note the use of an electric screwdriver for the assembly of chairs will void your guarantee.



We will even collect faulty items free of charge. Just call 01825 723217 to arrange your free collection and full credit.

However, if you are returning unwanted items between 1 and 3 months since your order, that are not in an ‘as new’ condition suitable for resale, we reserve the right to charge a minimum restocking fee of £15 or 20% of the item’s selling price.  Food and drink, made-to-order and personalised items are non-returnable at any time.

You can still return unwanted items within 30 days of delivery. If you contact us within 7 days we will collect the items free of charge and issue you a full credit. Thereafter the charge for collection is £3.50 (which will be deducted from the value of your credit) and the goods must be unused, complete, and in ‘as new’ condition and in their original and unmarked packaging (not resealed with brown tape).

Once the goods have been received back into our warehouse and their condition checked, you may receive a full credit for these items. If they are not in a suitable condition, we reserve the right to charge a minimum restocking fee of £15 or 20%. Certain goods are excluded from our standard returns policy such as food and drink items (which cannot be returned due to Health and Safety Regulations), laptops, opened software, made-to-order and personalised items and some business machines unless damaged or faulty.
